Celebrating God's Gift of Creation Week: Service Sunday
This Sunday, April 30, in our time of worship we will have a special guest, world renown opera star Takesha Meshe Kizart.
Two years ago Takesha preformed an incredible moving concert at Crossroads. All who attended were greatly blessed by Takesha's voice and spiritual presence. On top of that, Pastor Dave will have an inspiring message that shows how our everyday small acts make a big difference in the world. After our time in the sanctuary we will move to worshiping with our hands in acts of service. There will be many ways to serve inside the building as well as in the community.

TAKESHA MESHÉ KIZART

is worthy of all superlatives. With a breathtaking mastery and unflinching portrayals... a vocal flexibility that enables her to acutely pass from a tearful murmur to a firm luminosity. And her dramatic intelligence is worthy of the great "lionesses" of the lyric theater. An artist whose international career is still at its dawning, this young and beautiful American should reach the summit quickly. Provided, of course, that she preserves the incandescent glow that currently emanates from her every word and gesture.
